Zero Day Adobe Flash Vulnerability

Adobe Flash Zero Day ExploitAdobe has released an emergency update for its widely used Flash Player to combat with new Zero Day Adobe Flash Vulnerability discovered by Internet security research firm FireEye. Adobe has assigned the CVE identifier CVE-2014-0502 to this vulnerability and released a security bulletin.

Visitors to the Peter G. Peterson Institute for International Economics (www.piie[.]com) , the American Research Center in Egypt, as well as the Smith Richardson Foundation “were redirected to an exploit server hosting this Flash zero-day through a hidden iframe,” according to FireEye. All three organizations are nonprofit institutions; the Peterson Institute and Smith Richardson Foundation engage in national security and public policy issues.
